Sudigadu, parody on blockbuster Telugu films, was the last commercial hit of comedy hero Allari Naresh who then failed to score another hit. It is known that, Sudigadu is remake of Tamil film Tamil Padam.
Seems like, Naresh is super excited with the humongous success of recent outing Tamil Padam 2 (Tamizh Padam 2.0) which is sequel to Tamil Padam. The young hero is allegedly in talks with makers of Tamil Padam 2 to acquire Telugu remake rights.
If things materialize, this movie will go on sets early next year and Bheemaneni Srinivasa Rao who helmed Sudigadu will direct the sequel as well. Buzz is that, Allari Naresh himself will produce the film on EVV Cinema Banner. Since Tamil version is a blockbuster, Naresh too is expected to shake box office with the remake.
Tamil Padam 2 story revolves around Shiva, the Universal cop, who leaves the police department. He is brought back in to resolve a crisis. Once the situation is handled, he is asked to join the department by the Commissioner of police, but he refuses and walks away. P, a dreaded don who poses a threat to society, kills Shiva's girlfriend by pushing her out of a flying plane. Shiva is forced to rejoin the department and he tries all the possible ways to nab and destroy P.
On the other hand, Allari Naresh is presently doing couple of films- a multi-starrer with Sunil titled Silly Fellows and a special role in Superstar Mahesh Babu’s 25th film in Vamsi Paidipally’s direction.
