Atiloka Sundari Sridevi's sudden and tragic demise broke the hearts of many. Her daughter Janhvi Kapoor is getting ready to fill the void of her mother on silver screen with her debut film Dhadak which is slated for a grand release on July 20.
Janhvi who is casting a magic spell on everyone with her innocent looks speaking to scribes shared her secrets. She said since her childhood she wanted to be an actor but in betwen she felt like exploring other fields as she was fond of history and writing.
Janhvi unlike many newcomers wasn't nervous and indeed was excited when she first faced the camera. Her role in Dhadak is similar to her sister Khushi in real life. Though she didn’t observe her sister much before the film, while wrapping up shooting and going to her house, she drew parallels and looked similar. She said Khushi is pricey and also a bully. She revealed that Khushi is extremely sensitive and not expressive. “Kushi's silence is her strength and she acts as if she doesn't care. Khushi bullies me a lot and she is like bechaari behen,” informed Janhvi.
Revealing the tips given by her mother Sridevi, Janhvi said, “My mom told me that only a good human being and an honest person can become a good actor. According to her, one cannot do justice to any role with negativity and malice in heart. My mother didn’t give me any feedback as she never came to the sets but when she saw the rushes, she was happy. She advised me not to apply makeup in the second half.”
