Here is a big news! Power Star Pawan Kalyan's Janasena political party has reportedly owned a news channel. It's being said that Janasena Party's key leader Thota Chandrasekhar, who is a retired IAS officer of 1987 batch, took over 99TV and a puja ceremony was also done this morning.
99TV was floated by CPI a couple of years ago and was running all these years. Earlier, there were reports that Pawan Kalyan would be owning CPI-M party's 10TV. But then the legal issues made him taken aback.
Thota joined Prajarajyam Party in 2009 and contested from Guntur constituency. However, he lost the elections. Thereafter, he joined YCP but couldn't get adjusted in the party. Currently, Thota is playing an active role in Jansena party. Thota also owned another media house 'News Wave'. Hereafter, this media will run 99TV.
Now that most of the news channels in AP turned mouth pieces of ruling TDP and are slinging mud on Janasena, Pawan Kalyan mulled over acquiring a media house all these days. The channels even went overboard conducting debates with anti-social elements and made them use filthy language on Power Star.
To checkmate bad propaganda on Jansena and him, Pawan Kalyan has finally owned 99TV. In a wink, the channel may take Janasena's voice to the people. Accordingly, the channel started telecasting Pawan Kalyan's North Andhra tour live soon after Thota Chandrasekhar owned the channel.
