Question On Climax Angers HIM

Director Karunakaran created a sensation with his debut film powering Power Star Pawan Kalyan into different orbit of stardom with Tholi Prema. While Pawan skyrocketed to stardom, Karunakaran failed to reach the next level. Despite coming with hits like Ullasamga Utsahamga, Darling, they didn’t come anywhere near Tholi Prema. 

Karunakaran has been criticized for remixing the same stories again and again. His recent romantic entertainer Tej I Love You featuring Sai Dharam Tej and Anupama Parameswaran too is getting criticized for the same reason. 

Karunakaran who is getting questioned on the same topic again and again lost his cool and expressed his anger when he was asked about the similarities in the climax scenes of Tholi Prema and Tej-I Love You. 

When asked whether Tej climax was inspired by Tholi Prema, Karunakaran fired saying shouldn’t anyone not to include airport scene just because it was already used in another film. He pointed out that in Tholi Prema, both don’t express their love, while in Tej I Love You, both express their love.

Karunakaran said irrespective of whatever negatives people are writing about the film, movie lovers are loving the film and theaters are resounding with their whistles.
