Did you remember the rabbit and the turtle story? In a race between rabbit and turtle, the rabbit gets to the halfway point and decided to stop to take a short nap. All this time the turtle keeps walking step by step by step. He never quit no matter how hot or tired he got. He just kept going and finally won the race.
Coming to the actual point, two heroes from mega family- Sai Dharam Tej and Varun Tej entered film industry in different time periods but with a hope of making their own mark. SDT started his career grandly by scoring back to back hits with Pilla Nuvvu Leni Jeevitham, Subramanyam For Sale and Supreme.
Then in order to reach next level of stardom, SDT picked regular and commercial subjects. Unfortunately, all the films bombed miserably at box office due to weak content. He botched to judge scripts and has faced numerous flops in last couple of years.
SDT’s latest release Tej I Love You too got mixed response and the film opened to lowest collections in the actor’s career. When he scored hat-trick hits, even critics lauded him as one of the finest actors from mega compound. However, he disappointed them with his poor judgment skills.
On the flip side, Varun Tej has been trying to choose different films from the beginning. Although his experiments gave bitter results in his early stage of career, Varun has now become one of the most sought after actors in Tollywood with consecutive hits- Fidaa and Tholiprema.
Currently, Varun Tej is doing couple of films- a space thriller in Sankalp Reddy’s direction and a hilarious multi-starrer F2 (Fun And Frustration) co-starring Venkatesh and is directed by Anil Ravipudi. Buzz is good on both the films.
Even though Varun Tej is in best form, he is not willing to do commercial films, although he is showing interest to do experimental and unique films. That’s the difference between SDT and Varun Tej.
