Actress Old Video Troubling Her Father

Universal Hero Kamal Haasan is renowned for his frank and bold talk on various contemporary issues. He is currently firing on all cylinders on the ruling BJP at the centre and also attacking the state government in Tamil Nadu. He is dreaming of filling the vacuum formed in Tamil Nadu politics after the demise of Jayalalithaa with his party Makkal Needi Maiyam. 

Under these circumstances, Kamal's darling daughter Shruti Haasan's old video landed him in huge trouble. Kamal some time back proudly claimed that he is against caste and refused to sign the column pertaining to caste in the forms. He said, "I refused to fill in the caste and religion column in both my daughters' school admission certificate. That's the only way, it will pass on to the next generation."

But now an old video emerged in which Shruti Haasan was seen indulging in caste talk in her chat show 'Look Who's Talking With Niranjan' hosted by Niranjan Iyengar in 2004. She proudly claimed that both are Iyengars. 

Not only his political opponents but also netizens started trolling him for his duplicity. Some pointed out that Kamal is the forefront of promoting casteism in his films and cited his films Thevar Magan, (1992) and his upcoming film Sabash Naidu as examples.
