Director Blames Superstar’s Coterie

Almost all filmmakers and actors love to associate with Super Star Rajinikanth at least once in life time. Under these circumstances, a star director rues the rejection from Rajini and blames his coterie surrounding him for the missed opportunity.

Gautam Menon is known for his creativity casting a magic spell with different genre entertainers. He is currently busy with his Dhruva Nakshatram featuring versatile actor Vikram in the lead. The film is a patriotic entertainer highlighting the involvement of the country's intelligence agencies.

Gautam Menon revealed that he narrated the story to Rajini who too loved the storyline and even enquired about the dates needed, project budget etc. He said Rajini however shied away from doing the project misguided by people close to him.

Dhruva Nakshatram landed in controversies ever since its inception. The project was launched with Surya in the lead. But creative differences led Surya quit the project and finally the film landed in the laps of Vikram.
