Actress Sensations On Casting Couch

MeToo campaign started by Hollywood actresses exposing the casting couch by top celebrities created sensation and this forced Hollywood to take action against the accused celebrities. 

This inspired even Bollywood and South counterparts to start similar campaign. However despite the claims of the actresses about casting couch, nothing happened really. 

Huma Qureshi, who romanced Superstar Rajinikanth in Kaala, speaking to scribes came up with a shocker saying MeToo campaign failed miserably in the country. She said the campaign failed as senior actresses didn’t speak against the casting couch in the industry. 

 “It’s not going to happen (in Bollywood) and the reason is, it worked in Hollywood because a lot of senior and respected actresses spoke about it. That’s what really gives the #MeToo movement a lot of momentum. I really hope and pray it happens in India. But I feel we should not wait for this campaign to happen just in the film industry, it should happen in all walks of life,” added Huma.
