She Accepted Balakrishna Only For Pay

Marathi Mulgi Radhika Apte shot to fame with maverick director Ram Gopal Varma’s Raktha Charitra, a biopic on Paritala Ravi. She went on to romance Natasimha Balakrishna not once but twice in Legend and Lion. Of late she is capturing the imagination of all with her bold photo shoots and powerful female oriented roles in Bollywood.

For quite some time Radhika has been targeting the south industry especially Tollywood. She made shocking allegations that a star hero misbehaved with her. Though she didn’t name anyone, needle of suspicion turned towards Balakrishna, as he is the only star whom she romanced in Tollywood.

Scribes once again asked Radhika and this time more pointedly as to why she romanced Balakrishna not once but twice when he tortured her. Replying to it, Radhika said she had no other option but to star opposite him, as she was financially broke and needed money to survive in life.

During that time, Radhika not only romanced Balakrishna twice, but also did many films much against her will. She is financially strong and established herself in the industry, so she feels she can chose and reject roles accordingly.
