Fire At Heroine's Building

Fire engulfed the 33rd floor of a skyscraper in Mumbai and even as everyone got worried, people received shock that the residence of Bollywood beauty Deepika Padukone is also located in the same building on the 26th floor.

But fortunately, Deepika was not at her residence or office when the apartment caught fire. As the news spread, fans, relatives, friends and well-wishers started making frantic calls, enquiring about her safety. 

Deepika confirmed her safety much to the relief of her worried fans. She posted “I am safe.Thank You everyone.Let us pray for our firefighters who are at site risking their lives...”

Deepika bought a plush four-bedroom apartment on the 26th floor of the 33-storey tower in 2010 for Rs16 crore. Deepika’s decision to buy an apartment in Prabhadevi had taken the film industry watchers by surprise. 

Most stars prefer to stay in the suburbs, especially between Bandra and Andheri, since most of the studios and offices of production houses are there.
