Apparently, Tamil Superstar Rajinikanth's Kaala embroiled into huge controversy. The movie, which hit screens yesterday, received mixed reports from the audience. In the meanwhile, the director is alleged to have shown lord Rama as a villain and Ravana as a hero.

As per the story, villain Nana Patekar is a devotee of lord Rama and offers prayers to the god. On the other hand, Rajinikanth was shown as Ravana and he was praised with chants saying he has ten heads. During the pre climax episodes of the movie, Nana Patekar's goons and police attack Rajini and his supporters. The scene was carved out as Rama and Ravana war and it was projected Rama defeats Ravana.

Having watched the film, hardcore devotees of lord Rama are expressing their anger on the director. The director needs to give an explanation for these intense allegations against him.

Kaala was directed by Pa Ranjith under hero Dhanush's Wunderbar Studios. Santhosh Narayanan has composed music. Huma Quereshi and Eeshwari Rao are the female leads.
