Surprisingly, there’s drastic change in prospects for Rajinikanth’s last movie and his upcoming film. While audience waited eagerly to watch Kabali, after they excited listening to the dialogue ‘Kabali Ra’ in its trailer, Kaala is carrying very low buzz like a small time hero film, since Kabali was a flop and promotional videos were not so enchanting.
What’s more, Kaala has made pretty ordinary business. It is known that, Kabali Telugu rights were sold for Rs 45 crores and Telugu buyers lost plenty with the film. Thus, no distributors dared to acquire Kaala rights for Telugu rights.
As release date was approaching, they sold Kaala rights for a low price. The Telugu rights fetched only Rs 23 Cr for producers. This is indeed lowest business for Rajinikanth’s films compared to his market value.
It is to be seen whether Rajinikanth will bounce back with Kaala or not!
