Generally celebrities sport a completely different image in real life compared to their reel life super hero image. However Benedict Cumberbatch, who is part of The Avengers-Infinity War, stunned all by enacting stunts in real life to save a cyclist.
Benedict Cumberbatch who is popular as Sherlock Holmes in the hit BBC series, rescued a Deliveroo rider when four people attacked him.
Cumberbatch along with his wife Sophie Hunter was in a cab on Marylebone High Street in central London with, when they saw the cyclist being hit over the head with a bottle.
Manuel Dias, driver of the car sharing the heroics said “Benedict was courageous, brave and selfless. If he hadn’t stepped in, the cyclist could have been seriously injured. Here was Sherlock Holmes fighting off four attackers just round the corner from Baker Street.
He stood there instructing them in the street, shouting, ‘Leave him alone.’ I had hold of one lad and Benedict another. He seemed to know exactly what he was doing. He was very brave. He did most of it, to be honest.”
Benedict Cumberbatch just responded, “I did it out of … well, I had to, you know.”
