AP Panchayat Raj Minister Nara Lokesh touched the hearts of TDP activists with his tear-jerking speech at Mahanadu today. TDP's Mahanadu celebrations are going great guns in the city of Vijayawada.
Nara Lokesh expressed his delight for serving the villages through his ministerial post. He said, "Chinnappudu endakaalam selavullo maa naanna nannu vooriki pampevaru. Ala pampetappudu palleku seva chesthe paramathmudiki seva chestinatte ani pade pade gurthu chesevaru. Aa vidhamgaa chinna vayasu lone Panchayat Raj mantrigaa seva chese avakasam dakkindhi. (My dad used to send me to villages in my childhood. While doing so, he would preach me serving the villages means serving the god. As a result, I've got an opportunity to serve the people as a Panchayat Raj minister)
Although TDP activists clapped for Lokesh's words, opposition parties are severely lambasting Lokesh's words. "After all, he got that opportunity because he was the son of a CM. Else, he has no qualification to be the minister. He didn't even contest any poll battle and how can he take a pride of his post?" questions an opposition party's worker.
