Kantha Rao Biopic on Cards!

Legendary actress Savitri's biopic Mahanati's super hit result has given immense inspiration to many filmmakers to do biopics of many legendary personalities. While YS Rajasekhar Reddy's biopic 'Yatra' is already in its production stages, another legendary personality then hero Kantha Rao's biopic is on cards. 

Kantha Rao was one of the top heroes of 1950s and 60s. Especially, he was an ultimate choice for folklore entertainers. That's why he was fondly called Kathi Katha Rao by his fans and movie lovers.

Director PC Aditya announced Katha Rao's biopic title as 'Anaganaga O Rakumarudu'. The movie will also have characters such as NTR, ANR, Krishna Kumari and Rajasri. The director has made extensive research on the life of Katha Rao. He collected crucial details about Kantha Rao at the latter's native place Gudibanda of Kodada Mandal. Kantha Rao's son Prathap also gave some valuable info to the director. 

Though Kantha Rao ruled the roost of his career as a hero, he lost all the money earned through his production ventures. Kantha Rao's biopic maybe included all these happenings  to ensure a complete biopic of the legendary actor.
