It was a never seen hype for Power Star Pawan Kalyan's Agnyathavasi prior to its release. However, it was a different story post the film's release. The film became a huge debacle at the box office due to its poor content and taking. Eventually, the movie stood as the biggest flop of Tollywood.

Critics didn't spare the makers anymore. They took a dig at every aspect of the film. On the other hand, it was buzzed buyers were agitating to get their investments paid back but Pawan Kalyan refused to pay for the losses.

Nonetheless, ace director Trivikram, who helmed the project, disclosed the fact that Power Star, producer Radhakrishna and he adjusted Rs.25 crores to the buyers out of Rs.30 crore losses. "The movie did a business Rs.90 crores and recovered just Rs.60 crores. So we three paid Rs.25 crores to the buyers within one week after film's release", says Trivikram.

As of now, some anti fans pointed their fingers at Pawan Kalyan blaming him that he hadn't done justice to the buyers. They might have repented now with the revelation of Trivikram.

Meanwhile, Trivikram heaped a shower of praises on Power Star. "He is a good friend of mine and good human being as well. He does never want to earn something cheating others", Trivikram said.
