Nandamuri Balakrishna wanted to release his dream project NTR, biopic on his late father and legendary actor Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao, for Dussehra as he felt it would become a huge campaign booster for TDP in next general elections.
Balakrishna’s dreams have been shattered with director Teja walked out of project even before it went on floors for reasons best known to him.
Balakrishna approached few directors like K Raghavendra Rao, Krishna Vamsi, Puri Jagannadh. But, Krish who directed his 100th film Gautamiputra Satakarni accepted to helm it.
Since Krish is busy with his latest Bollywood flick Manikarnika which is in post-production stages, he can’t immediately start NTR biopic.
It is heard that, Krish agreed to direct the movie on the conditions of not to force him to wrap up the film in less number of working days and he should be given time to understand the full script.
NTR biopic will apparently postpone from Dussehra to other occasion (most probably to Sankranthi). However, Balakrishna is full confident of Krish to complete the film in limited time period as the director earlier took 100 working days to wrap up GPSK though it had many war sequences.
Even though one thing for sure is that NTR biopic will certainly not release for Dussehra!
