Politiical circles speculated until a couple of days ago that if Janasena would form alliance with the BJP for next general elections. The ruling TDP's leaders too worried about the possible bonding of Janasena and BJP.
However, having gone through ongoing political developments, it is understood that BJP is trying desperately to checkmate Janasena chief's impact in the elections. Accordingly Kapu leader Kanna Lakshminarayana has been roped in as the party's president in AP.
It's being alleged by TDP's leaders that YSRCP's head YS Jagan Mohan Reddy had suggested Kanna's name to BJP high command for presidential post. Strangely, Kanna, who sent his resignation to BJP high command some days ago to join YCP, was made party's president. Not that all! Kanna met YCP's adviser Mudragada Padmanabham today.
All in all, it appears that BJP is strategically using Kapu leaders like Kanna and Mudragada with the support of YSRCP to checkmate Janasena's domination in the AP's politics. However, the million dollars question is that whether Kanna, who is not known to the people of his neighbouring constituencies and districts, can confront Pawan Kalyan? Let's wait for more days to learn more political strategies of AP political parties.
