Fake Collections Shivering Producers

Everyone knows how Tollywood producers boast their movie collections with star heroes. To the top of it, fans too wage collections war on social media. While one producer released a poster that their hero's film collected 100crs gross in just two days, another producer released a poster to announce their film collected 64crs gross in two days. Some other producer came up with a poster that their film collected 200crs in record time. 

However trade analysts come with the collections reports that are completely different from the claims of the producers. This makes many wonder why producers are getting bold in making such unrealistic claims and aren't they aware of the troubles they will face with such claims. Now it is coming out that IT officials have been closely observing the claims of Tollywood producers for quite some time. 

Sometime back after the implementation of the GST, observing the discrepancies of the tax paid by the producers, IT officials slapped notices to top producers. Now IT officials are investigating whether the producers who are making such tall claims about their films are paying GST according to the claims. 

Inside talk is IT officials are even turning their radar on even the buyers and exhibitors. Industry sources say with such claims, the producers are landing in trouble which is their own undoing.
