It has been a common practice for some filmmakers disclosing Fake and manipulated shares for their films aiming at better viewing. It's alleged by observers that some heroes are deliberately encouraging the filmmakers to publish hiked collections of their films. 

An analysis says heroes indulge in Fake promotions as they are insecure about their existing status and which is why they encourage Fake collections. But then, observers feel that such publicity harms heroes in a long span of time.

"If at all average films are boasted with hiked collections, even if the heroes get genuine blockbusters in future, the collections of those films mightn't be trusted by cine lovers. They may misunderstand original shares as Fake shares", says a movie goer.
