Pawan Issue: Questions to Journalist Unions

Having failed to face Jansena chief Power Star Pawan Kalyan's rebellion, targeted pro TDP channels TV9, TV5, ABN and Mahaa News sought the solidarity of Journalist Unions. Eventually, the association leaders took a dig at Power Star's criticisms on channels. However, some of the honest and genuine journos alleged that the unions are maintaining dual standards. The honest journos are posing following questions to Journalist Unions. 

* Are Journalist Unions working to save the rights of journos or are they working to safeguard channels ownerships? 

* While Pawan Kalyan opposed only a few channels, why are you blaming him that he had opposed entire media?

* Have you ever associated to discuss on depreciating ethics and values in media?

* CVR News didn't pay salaries to journos for six months. Why there were no protests then?

* When 'Express' news channel had issues with its journos for salaries, why didn't you respond?

* Where were your agitations when TDP activists manhandled Saakshi journo and CM himself called for boycotting Saakshi newspaper? Also, were you there when YSRCP activists manhandled Andhrajyothi's journo?

* When Chandrababu took a monopalistic decision to impose a ban on NTV and conditioned the senior journo Kommineni to be shown doors from the channel, where were your objections and disagreements?

* While there has been an intense negativity on media among the public, have you gone dumb and blind to think about the issue seriously?

* You are requested to fight against sexual harassment on women journos within media. Also, you are requested not to work for the sake of ruling political parties. And last but not the least, you should never indulge in politics as politicians do.
