Actress Sri Reddy, while putting blame on many top celebs on casting couch issue, leaked a Whatsapp chat screen shot which was linked to director Koratala Siva. The director responded on the issue.
Koratala said, "Everyone knows what I am. In spite of gender difference, I respect both men and women equally. It was really shocking to me when my name was scrolled in social media on casting couch issue.
Initially, I thought I wouldn't respond or react on the issue. Since my film Bharat Ane Nenu is about to release, I thought I shouldn't face any negativity at the moment. I am completely against castign couche and never encourage any such activities in my projects.
When I was a kid, my father died and I was brought up by my mother. And when I attained youth, my mother was dead and my wife extended all her support to me.
I always wish that no harm is done for women. If at all anyone does agitations for their welfare, I openly support them."
