In the film Chitti Babu (Ram Charan) and Ramalakshmi (Samantha)'s love has been highlighted in numerous scenes and in one scene, to prove her love, Ramalakshmi liplocks Chitti Babu. Chitti Babu too reciprocates Mahalakshmi's liplock in the scene.

This has become the hot point of discussion among netizens. Some commented that while Samantha did the scene without any second thoughts in a completely professional manner, Cherry did it with a feeling of guilt as though what his wife Upasana thinks about him. 

Some however did not like Samantha liplocking as they feel that after marrying Naga Chaitanya and becoming the daughter in law of Akkineni family, she should have been more conservative. What is surprising all is netizens commenting about Samantha and her marriage with Naga Chaitanya but conveniently forgetting that Ram Charan too is a married person.
