With Rangasthalam generating tremendous interest and Mega Power Star Ram Charan’s role as hearing impaired villager Chitti Babu becoming the talking point, the actor delighted all by sharing the secrets of Rangasthalam on his birthday today.
Charan said, "Sukumar has given a bank of films like dad's Oorukichchina Maata, Mana Uri Pandavulu and Apadbhandhavudu. I have been watching all these films and also some Rajinikanth films as references. Many films with rural backdrop came in Kollywood."
On comparisons with Khaidi and Swayam Krushi, Charan stated, "During those days my father used to do not only commercial films but also films like Swayam Krushi and Apadbhandhavudu. Those films won the critics acclaims and also did well commercially. "
On Chiranjeevi predicting many awards for Rangasthalam, he explained, "He must have said so due to his love for me. We never thought about awards. After watching the film, my mother embraced me and at that time I saw tears in her eyes. This is equivalent to many awards for me."
On his nephew, Allu Ayaan imitating him, Charan informed, "Yes. He posed wearing my dress in Rangasthalam. When he was troubling his father Allu Arjun, I got two sets of dresses stitched and set him."
Meanwhile, Rangasthalam is all set for grand release on 30th of this month.
