Rangasthalam Pre Release Event Highlights

Mega Power Star Ram Charan's Rangasthalam pre release event was held on Sunday, March 18. at RK beach of Vizag city. Following are the highlights and sidelights of the event. 

HIGHLIGHTS:

* The event was graced by Megastar Chiranjeevi as a chief guest. Chiranjeevi's better half Surekha, mega producer Allu Aravind, Chiranjeevi's son-in-law Kalyan Dev, Srija and Sushmitha also graced the event. All the cast and crew of the film were turned up at the venue.

* Suma has done the job of anchoring. 

* Traditional art forms of Telugu people Thappeta Gullu, Burra Katha and drums were performed by the artists and were enjoyed by the audience. 

* Chandrabose expressed his delight for penning all songs which symbolized rich Telugu culture, tradition and beauty. 

* Anasuya revealed that she had essayed the role of Rangammaththa for Ram Charan. She is the mother of Samantha in the film.

* Maanasi sang Rangamma Mangamma song superbly on stage. 

* Pooja Hegde had some surprise package as she tapped her feet on the stage for Jigel Rani song. Jani maser also joined her.

* Allu Aravind launched Rangamma Mangamma promo. He lauded Ram Charan, Samantha, Devi Sri Prasad and Sukumar for their excellencies. He said every hero in the industry wants to do a film with Sukumar. Finally, he reiterated that Chiranjeevi laid a platform for all mega heroes starting from Pawan Kalyan to Allu Sirish.

* Devi Sri Prasad thanked Sukumar and Chandrabose in particular. 

* Theatrical trailer was launched by Chiranjeevi.

*  Samantha said Rangasthalam for Ram Charan is something like Chiranjeevi's Swayamkrushi. 

* Adhi said Ram Charan's performance is extraordinary in the film and this would be something like Chiranjeevi's Khaidi. One of the producers Naveen Yerneni also opined the film would be like a Khaidi for Chiranjeevi.

* Brahmaji said Chiranjeevi and his wife Surekha would be proud for having such a great son.

* "Ram Charan performed splendidly to the first take itself. Not only myself but also most intellectual actor Prakash Raj also clapped for his performance. I can't expect anyone else other than Charan in this role.

* Ram Charan conveyed Ugadi wishes to everyone. He thanked Sukumar for letting him acquainted with a beautiful village wherein he worked for 50 days. "I felt I grew respect on me because of Sukumar. My parents and fans feel proud of this film", said Mega Power Star.

* Addressing to Vizag people Chiranjeevi said, "I always go jubilant whenever I visit Vizag. People here are peace-mongers. Rangasthalam is a pure village backdrop film. I feel jealousy as an artist but feel proud as a father. Sukumar maintained same momentum and emotion throughout the film. Ram Charan gave his best performance and I hope ti would be something like my film Khaidi. Chandrabose' pen power is magnificent. Finally, I feel the film deserves awards of all departments. No wonder the film would bag a national award. If not, it'd be felt injustice is meted on the movie.
