The AP's CM Chandrababu Naidu recently called for his party's leaders to go into the public and would campaign how TDP had been fighting against centre for special category status. Having taken their boss' call, MPs like Siva Prasad have started an extensive campaigning on SCS to win people's hearts.
As per an observation, Natasimham Nandamuri Balakrishna, although, being one of the top leaders of TDP, never ever agitated for SCS to AP. On the other hand, he has been rebuked by his constituency Hindupur's people for his absence in the constituency showing negligence at implementing welfare programmes. Some political analysts also suspected if Balayya would be given Hindupur ticket for next general elections by CBN or not.
At this framework, some students of Tirupati, who found leisure time today, made slogans that Tollywood heroes would respond on AP's SCS issue. They exhibited the pictures of many heroes. However, Balayya's photo was found missed in their agitation and then it was made out that those students were the sympathisers of TDP.
As a matter of fact, Balakrisha is one among very few heroes who have been doing active politics. While Janasena chief Power Star Pawan Kalyan has been fighting for SCS forming JFC, Megastar Chiranjeevi gave up politics temporarily. Other heroes like King Nagarjuna, Victory Venkatesh, Prince Mahesh Babu and others never ever have made political statements. Moreover, they humbly admitted that they knew nothing about politics. As such their stoic silence on any political issue including SCS can be justified.
But then, Balayya's fans themselves wish the Natasimham should fight for SCS in order to get his political image regained. "We want him to be the Simham in SCS fight but not like other animals," says a fan proudly. Perhaps, this is high time not only CBN but also great intellectuals of AP like Chalasani Srinivas and hero Sivaji advised Balakrishna to protest for SCS. Let's hope Balayya will oblige everyone's wish.
