Here is a good news to movie lovers across South India. As the discussions went on successful and a desired agreement was done between Pproducer, exhibitors joint action committee and Digital Service Providers (DSPs) all Theatres down South will be opened from March 8.

It has been since years long wait the producers and exhibitors seeking the cut down of taxes imposed by DSPs. Finally, as they resorted to indefinite bandh of Theatres, DSPs got the charges reduced. Following is the list of rates to be implemented in Theatres from March 6.

E-Cinema

Per Show – 275 (Flat rate for life run capped at Rs 20,000)

Week 4 – 100

Week 5 – 75

D-Cinema

Full Run Flat VPF – Rs 21,750

Per Show – 450
