It has been since a long time South Indian producers demanding digital service providers to get the charges slashed for screening of films. But then, DSP's have stayed stubborn without reducing prices.

Finally, producers have collaborated with exhibitors and let all screens of South India closed indefinitely until DSP's reduce the prices. The two groups have been negotiating for the past two days and an admissible resolution, reportedly, has come.

Buzz says DSPs offered between 25% and 35% reduction in the charges. An official announcement on the confirmation of the deal is awaited. As a result, all theatres of Telugu states will be opened tomorrow delighting movie lovers.
