People across the world are yet to come to the terms with the tragic and sudden death of legendary actress Sridevi on February 24th in Dubai. 

Many thronged to pay their final respects when she was cremated in India with state honour on February 28th. Not only celebrities, but also movie lovers are still paying floral tributes to the departed soul.

In the meantime, screenwriter and lyricist Varun Grover who is renowned for his films Masaan, Udta Punjab, Newton, came up with a unique tribute to Atiloka Sundari in a local train in Mumbai.

Varun happened to watch sarangi-player Prakash paying tribute to Sridevi by playing her popular songs while he was commuting on Borivali local train. He quickly recorded it and posted on social media. This is going viral with netizens loving every bit of it.

In the video, Prakash played Tere Mere Hothon Pe, Tu Ja Na Mere Badhshah and Tu Mujhe Kabool from Khuda Gawah and Chandni on his musical instrument. 

Sharing the video, Varun posted, “So last night in the crowded Borivali local, Prakash with his hand-made Sarangi started playing ‘Tere mere honthon par’. Soon many of us in the bogey realised he’s giving a medley-tribute to #Sridevi. Goosebumps followed.”
