Director Raises Doubts About Sridevi's Death

Sridevi's sudden death under mysterious circumstances in a bathtub in a hotel in Dubai left all shellshocked. When Dubai hospital authorities in their report mentioned the cause of death is an accidental drowning in contrast to the speculated cardiac arrest, it gave birth to many conspiracy theories. 

For the couple of days, entire print and electronic media held discussions on the so called conspiracy angle but everything fizzled out after Dubai cops closed the case saying there was nothing suspicious about her death. 

However many of Sridevi's die hard fans and skeptics suspect something fishy. People like politician Subrahmanya Swamy demanded a thorough probe into Sridevi's death and suspected international mafia headed by underworld don Dawood Ibrahim's hand in it. 

Maverick director Ram Gopal Varma too expressed his doubts. Sharing his suspicions he posted, “Indian media tried to investigate Aarushi murder by themselves and still the truth is not entirely known. Now, when such a huge celebrity has left us alone, why isn’t media worried to bring out the facts. How come they are accepting the investigation by Dubai police?”
