Low Buzz Damaging Superstar’s Film

Superstar Rajinikanth’s stardom is not limited for Tamil Nadu or South. He is a big star in North as well since many Bollywood actors admire him as their favorite star. Buzz will typically be high for his films which are actually hot cakes in trade circles.

However, there are no takers for Rajinikanth’s upcoming film Kaala in Telugu, although makers are getting huge offers for distribution rights in Tamil. In fact, the low buzz due to various reasons is damaging the film’s business in Telugu states.

First of all, Rajinikanth has been going through lean phase with flops. Kaala director Pa. Ranjith’s previous film Kabali with the superstar was a dud at Telugu box office.

Above all, Rajinikanth’s son-in-law Dhanush who produced Kaala is demanding high price for Telugu rights.

Meanwhile, Kaala teaser was supposed to release today. But it is postponed for tomorrow with the demise of respected Jagadguru Poojyashri Jayaendra Saraswati Shankaracharya, senior pontiff of the Kanchi Sankara Mutt.

As we reported earlier, Kaala theatrical outing will be on 27th April. We need to wait and see whether Dhanush will drop the price!
