Sridevi Then Tied Rakhi to Boney

Rumors spread like wildfire in fashion and film industries. The sudden and shocking demise of Sridevi under mysterious circumstances resulted in innumerous rumors over her past life.

Media reports suggest that Sridevi at first fell in love with Mithun Chakraborthy and even married him secretly in 1985. Some say Sridevi annulled her marriage with Mithun Chakraborthy after his first wife Yogita threatened her. 

Interim, Boney Kapoor entered into Sridevi’s life. She stayed in Boney’s house along with his wife Mona who once revealed that Sridevi used to consider him as her brother and the Himmatwala star had even tied a rakhi to him.

Later, Sridevi and Boney's brother and sister relationship turned into a love story. Boney finally succeeded in convincing Sridevi and both got married after Boney divorced Mona. Mona at that time even accused them of having illegal affair adding Sridevi was a pregnant before their marriage.
