Priya Varrier Song Lands In Trouble

Malayalee debutante actress turned model Priya Varrier became over night sensation with those killer expressions when makers released the song 'Manikya Malaraya Poovi' directed by Omar Lulu. 

While movie lovers and people in love got bowled by Priya Varrier's naughty, chirpy expressions, few muslim organisations have taken strong exception to the lyrics in the song and way it was filmed on the screen. 

A group of Hyderabad youngsters lodged police complaint against makers of Oru Aadar Love at Falaknuma police station. They alleged that makers have hurt the sentiments of Muslims. 

We have taken the printout of lyrics and translated them to find that the lyrics have hurt muslim community. A case has been registered against the director Omar Lulu and others under section 295 A, sources informed. 

The youngsters league alleged, the viral eye winking track "Manikya malaraya poovi" is an Islamic Poem praising Khateeja RA, wife of Prophet Mohammad PBUH.

Was just going through the track, its lyrics and further dig into its translation, I was in a state of shock.

Another youngster accused, I was checking the lyrics of the Odu Aadar song Manikya Malaraya (from which that video went viral). It is about Prophet Mohammad (pbuh) and Khadija RA.
