By Hook or Crook Rajini Wants to Do It

Tamil Superstar Rajinikanth's 2.0 was supposed to hit the screens on April 14 on the eve of Tamil new year. However, the film was deferred indefinitely due to delay in post production and VFX. 

It seems Rajini doesn't want to miss the Tamil new year, anyway. He revealed that the makers of his new film Kaala are mulling over to release the film on April 14 to compensate 2.0's postponement. 

Kaala, however,  will face heat of Telugu filmmakers for sure in Tollywood. Mega Power Star Ram Charan's Rangasthalam, Stylish Star Allu Arjun's Naa Peru Surya Naa Illu India and Prince Mahesh Babu's Bharat Ane Nenu will hit screens in the month of April. Kaala may hardly get theatres in Telugu states in the month of April. It then remains to be seen how well the tough situation would be faced by Kaala makers. 

Kaala was directed by Pa Ranjith while Dhanush has bankrolled the movie. Santhosh Narayanan is the music director.
