Chiru No.1 Post Miles Ahead for Them

Two big stars of Tollywood, who have been considered to be contenders of number one status in Tollywood, appeared to have gone out of the race with their shocking disasters in recent times.

Post the release of Atharintiki Daredi, Power Star Pawan Kalyan acted four films such as Gopala Gopala, Sardar Gabbar Singh, Katamarayudu and Agnyathavasi. None of the films scored a blockbuster. In contrast, SGS and Katamarayudu stood as disasters while Agnyathavasi received negative reports on day one. 

Likewise, Prince Mahesh Babu also delivered four flops among his previous five ventures. Mahesh's 1-Nenokkadine, Aagadu, Brahmotsavam and Spyder scored disasters. Now that both Pawan Kalyan and Mahesh Babu maintained very poor success rate from their previous five ventures, they can no more be considered contenders for number one status. 

Of course, barring successes and failures, Pawan Kalyan has amazing fan following owing to his attitude, social and political consciousness. Similarly, Mahesh Babu also earned great following which is unshaken with hits and flops. Both the superstars can bounce back at any moment with huge blockbusters.

But then, Megastar Chiranjeevi scored an industry hit Khaidi Number 150 which has made his number one position strengthened and keeps other heroes miles away to reach his status. Perhaps, this is the rare feat by any hero for any film industry across the globe holding number one status for three and half decades in the industry.
