Tollywood witnessed significant number of Hits in 2017. A total of 24 films scored the successes which are ranging from industry Hits to averages. Following are the details of Hits of Tollywood.
INDUSTRY Hits: Rajamouli's Baahubali 2 showed the power of Telugu cinema at the Indian box office. The movie scored historical industry hit with Rs.1700+ crores gross collections. Furthermore, the film became the 7th most trended movie on Google.
On the other hand, Megastar Chiranjeevi's comeback film Khaidi Number 150 collected Rs.105+ crores world wide share and stood as an industry hit among single language Telugu films in Tollywood.
BLOCKBUSTERS: Sharwanand's Shatamanam Bhavathi, Natural Star Nani's Nenu Local, Vijay Devarakonda's Arjun Reddy and Mega Prince' Varun Tej's Fidaa minted more than double the shares of their investments and stood as blockbusters.
SUPER Hits: Natasimham Nandamuri Balakrishna's Gauthamiputra Satakarni, Sharwanand's Mahanubhavudu and Nani's MCA scored super Hits.
Hits: Victory Venkatesh's Guru, Rana's Ghazi, Naga Chaitanya's Raarandoy Veduka Chooddham, Rana's Nene Raju Nene Manthri, Siddharth's Gruham, Vijay's Adirindhi, Taapsi's Anando Brahma and Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja's Raja the Great scored Hits.
ABOVE AVERAGES: Stylish Star Allu Arjun's DJ Duvvada Jagannadham, Nani's Ninnu Kori and Raj Tharun's Kittu Vunnadu Jagraththa stood as above average ventures.
AVERAGES: Young Tiger NTR's Jai Lava Kusa, Bellamkonda Sai Srinivas' Jaya Janaki Nayaka, Nikhil's Kesava and Vennela Kishore's Ami Tumi stood as average ventures.
