Star comedian Sunil recently lost his steam as lead actor. He is reeling in a string of flops and is now getting ready to test his luck with remake of Malayalam hit Two Countries slated for grand release this weekend that is tomorrow.
Director N. Shankar says that they planned to rope in a top heroine for the role but many despite liking the character which dominates the hero has put a condition that they will accept film only if they replace Sunil with a star hero.
Shankar added that all those heroines will repent when debutant Manisha Raj will get good name and become a star after the film's release.
Sunil too shared, 'I will be seen as a person who lies to any extent for the sake of money. 2 Countries has 80% comedy. Due to my busy shooting schedule of 2 Countries, I missed the golden opportunity to star in Pawan Kalyan's Agnatavasi under Trivikram's direction.'
He said “It is true that we had discussed the same. However, by the time the scripting was done, the role didn’t quite shape up the way I was hoping for it to be. And so, I opted out of the film,”.
