Buzz: Padmavati Not in Near Future

Sanjay Leela Bhansali's hopes of getting his controversial  historical flick Padmavati censored is getting tougher with each passing second. It is known that Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor's starrer Padmavati landed in huge controversy as Rajput community, Karni Sena and other Hindu organisations protested against the film release accusing Bhansali of showing Padmavati in an obscene manner. 

With both the sides taking a rigid stand, questionmarks popped out on the film's release. Bhansali rubbed the wrong side of the Censor Board when he screened the film to select media before getting the film censored. This complicated the things and the hopes of his film getting censored after the Gujarat elections got diminished. 

Earlier rumours spread that the film will be released in January. However the CBFC formed a panel of renowned historians who will scrutinise the film. CBFC sources say they don't have plans to view the film in December and they have 40 films in queue waiting for censor. 

Buzz says Bhansali complicated the censor process by adding a disclaimer that his film's partially based on historical facts. Inside talk is the committee of historians is yet to be formed and sources reveal that their own members are either holidaying or reported sick.
