Swaroopa Speaking Much about Vizag Beauty Pageant?

The grand finale of Vizag Miss Beauty pageant is held this evening in Vizag. Ever since the first round of the contest, women groups have been making protests demanding the cancellation of the contest. As part of their job charts, women groups are making these protests and there is nothing wrong about it. 

However, Sharada Peetham's head Swaroopananda Swami too criticized the beauty pageant. Swaroopananda said Vizag city itself looks beautiful and the city needs no beauty contests. Many Swamijis and devotees felt that the beauty contest was not a cup of tea for  Swaroopananda and he needn't have responded on the beauty pageant. 

In spite of agitations, the organizers ensured that the grand finale is held smoothly in the city of Vizag. Meanwhile, it is learnt that women groups staged a dharna in front of the hotel where the beauty pageant is being held. They were reportedly arrested and were taken into custody by the police.
