This Is Kamma Lobbying: Bujji

The AP Government's Nandi awards announcement for three successive years has led huge unrest among Tollywood celebrities. They have opined that the TDP conferred awards to undeserved cast and crew.

In what has become an interesting development is that cine celebs are attending to media houses and conducting press meets to explain how the injustice was done to their films. Somehow, this appears like a revolt against wrong judgement on awards.

As we know, the other day passionate filmmaker Gunasekhar wrote an open letter to AP CM Chandrababu Naidu. Producers Bunny Vas and Bandla Ganesh breathed fire on jury members. 

And today, Stylish Star Allu Arjun's Race Gurram producers Nallamalupu Bujji and Dr Venkateswara Rao convened a press meet to exhibit their anguish for the film missing Nandi awards. 

"Allu Arjun won best actor award at Filmfare and SIIMA. The most popular song 'Cinema Choopistha Mava' won a total of eight awards. We were disappointed Race Gurram was not being considered for awards," said Dr Venkateswara Rao.

Another producer Nallamalupu Bujji, however, came down heavily on the government and Nandi jury. He targeted producer C Kalyan in his words. The other day, C Kalyan advised Bandla Ganesh and other producers not to make the issue controversial. In retort, Nallamalupu Bujji advised the producer to make a hit movie first. He also warned Kalyan not speak like insane.Bujji also felt that Kamma Lobbying worked well in conferring awards.

Gunasekhar explained how harder he strove for tax exemption for Rudhramadevi. He further questioned the jury committee why they had adjudged Allu Arjun for best character actor award when he had applied his name for best supporting actor. He also showed a photocopy as an evidence.
