There was a time when chatter box Swathi became a household Telugu name after the successful and first of its kind TV show Colors thus naming herself as Colors Swathi. Film industry did not stay away from welcoming the talented girl and offers flowed unstoppably and Swathi became a busy bee in no time with notable hit movies like Swamy Rara, Karthikeya into her kitty.
Whatsoever, Swathi’s career went off the radar in last two to three years and media began to wipe off her name from the prime list. Apparently, she has pinned lot many hopes on Maruthi backed London Babulu. Despite Swathi is floored with wide range of scripts from various film makers, she stood by the brand of Maruthi dreaming for a big comeback.
London Babulu, in fact the remake of Aandavan Kattalai is directed by Chinni Krishna while Rakshit is debuting as hero. Though the film created a bit of excitement early on due to Swathi factor, now that release sketch is drawn out in a hush for Nov 17th in between nearly 9 movies already in fray, there is no way London Babulu can be considered special and distinctive.
All in all, Swathi’s dream re-entry is dashed away with poor release strategy and she is upset with Maruthi for mocking her career.
