Garuda Vega: Herculean Task Ahead!

Senior Star Rajasekhar's PSV Garuda Vega was lauded by critics and audience for its technical brilliance and cutting edge concept. But then, the senior hero appears to be failing to convert positive word of mouth into collections. 

The movie, which accumulated mediocre collections of Rs.3+ crores share until its first weekend, has drastically got its collections dropped from Monday. While the break even target at world wide is set as Rs.11 crores the film could mint just Rs.5 crores so far. 

Currently, a Herculean task of Rs.6 crores is needed for the film to get itself proved the safe venture. But then, Thursday release Adirindhi and Friday releases Okkadu Migiladu and C/O Surya may pour cold water on the movie's prospects grabbing maximum screens which earlier allocated for Garuda Vega.

In spite of the box office result of Garuda Vega, Rajasekhar acknowledged a grand comeback with the film. The director, Praveen Sattaru, has already got a crazy offer to work with hero Nithiin. All in all, Garuda Vega seems to be helping its cast and crew except its makers.
