Way back, when Megastar Chiranjeevi floated PRP and was about to contest in 2009's general elections, opposition parties tried to erode his image by making several allegations. One of such allegations was that Chiranjeevi sold out his own house in his native village Mogalthuru for one lakh which was later modified as a library. Some of the honest media houses from AP state fought against Chiranjeevi about this cause. They questioned Megastar why he hadn't done anything for his native village.
Later, it was evident that the house which was alleged to have been belonged to Chiranjeevi was not actually of his'. It was actually the property of Chiranjeevi's mother Anjana Devi which was given to one of his sisters. Thereafter, a relative of Chiranjeevi sold out the house but not Chiranjeevi. Interestingly, Chiranjeevi helped financially to the library so that it could get sufficient number of books and infrastructure in it.
Co-incidentally, something similar situation is happening in Nandamuri camp at the moment. It was recently disclosed by a newspaper that late Ntr's house at T Nagar, Chennai was put for sale for Rs.21 crores by Nandamuri heroes. Having published the news, the media expressed their immense agony and advised the Nandamuri clan never to indulge in such innocent act.
However, sensible people of AP are now suggesting the honest media houses that they would fight to get the house modified as a library as it was done to Chiranjeevi's house. People of previous generations had got good knowledge on how Ntr as a God as the same is frequently published and broadcasted by these media. If at all Ntr's house gets changed as a library for public's use, people of current generation can also understand that Ntr was a real God.
