Dussehra Films: Litmus Test from Tuesday

The dream season for films has come to an end. People across Telugu states celebrated Dussehra festival with flying colours. As usualy, cinema has turned out to be the prime entertainment for the people and heavy rush was witnessed in theatres for all Dussehra releases. 

As we know, Jai Lava Kusa, Spyder and Mahanubhavudu were released for this Dussehra. 

Young Tiger NTR's Jai Lava Kusa has minted Rs.67 crores world wide share so far and it would still need Rs.19 more crores to reach break even. On the other hand, Prince Mahesh Babu's Spyder accumulated Rs.43 crores world wide share while the target is set for the film is Rs.125 crores for break even. 

Sharwanand's Mahanubhavudu breached the milestone Rs.10 crores in the first weekend run and the film needs another Rs.10 crores to be called as a hit. 

Now that, schools, colleges and offices are opened from Tuesday, real test for Dussehra films will begin from the same day. For Spyder, it would be a Herculean task to get its goal reached while JLK has already come to the closure of its business in areas like USA, Rest of India and a few others. Mahanubhavudu, on the other hand, is running with steady collections. Let's see where do all these films get their run ended.
