Forthcoming Dussehra season will have an intense box office clash between Prince Mahesh Babu and Young Tiger NTR with their new films Spyder and Jai Lava Kusa releasing with a short gap of six days. Incidentally, the stars are all set to lock horns fourth time at the box office arena this year. Hitherto, they confronted each other three times. Let's go for an analysis on the box office verdict of those films.

The first clash between Mahesh Babu and NTR was happened during the Sankranthi season of 2003 when they had squabbled at the ticket windows with their films Okkadu and Naga. Mahesh had a last laugh with the blockbuster success of Okkadu, while Naga turned as a dud. Okkadu reportedly accumulated close to Rs.20 crores share then.

In the year 2010 during the festive season of Dussehra, both the actors had a tussle with their films Khaleja and Brindavanam. NTR snatched the victory from Mahesh Babu this time. While Brindavanam scored a decent hit, Khaleja became the huge debacle in Mahesh's career.

Mahesh's Dookudu and NTR's Oosaravelli fought with each other during Dussehra festival of 2011. Dookudu stood as the biggest blockbuster in Mahesh's carrer. Furthermore, the film became the biggest grosser of the year with Rs.54+ crores world wide share.

To sum up, Mahesh gets upper hand with 2-1 lead in the face to face battles. It remains to be seen if NTR levels the graph or would lose it to Mahesh Babu again. However, TFI lovers are hoping both the movies would emerge as the winners.
