It seems the disastrous result of Brahmotsavam still haunts Prince Mahesh Babu. The actor was the centre of attraction during the pre release event of Spyder held in Hyderabad last night.
Addressing to the fans, Mahesh had interesting remarks on them. Firstly, he said fans wouldn't have made shouts as 'Jai Babu', when technicians like Santhosh Shivan were about to speak on stage.
Afterwards he said his fans were greater than any other hero's fans. The reason he cited was that his fans would watch his movies only if they had been well made. If not, they wouldn't watch them.
Some observers have opined that it might have been a satire of Mahesh Babu on his fans. According to them, Mahesh Babu's previous offing Brahmotsavam stood as the biggest disaster of Tollywood till the date of the film's release. "Had all Mahesh's fans watched the movie, the movie could have minted respectable collections though it could be rated as a flop at the box office," they said. "That's why, Mahesh might have made those strange remarks," they added.
