Why Big B's Yes to Chiru No to Balayya?

It is a known news that a couple of months ago Creative director Krishna Vamsi and Natasimham Nandamuri Balakrishna approached Big B Amitabh Bachchan for a message oriented film 'Raithu'. It was speculated that Krishna Vamsi offered President role for Big B in the film. Since Big B turned down the offer, the project was shelved.

As we know, Amitabh Bachchan has given nod to play a crucial role in Megastar Chiranjeevi's historical entertainer 'Sye Raa Narasimhareddy'. Ever since Amitabh's name has been out, Nandamuri fans have reportedly been denigrating Amitabh's decision. 

But then, what prompted Big B accepting a Megastar's film and rejecting Balayya's movie? According to the sources, Amitabh, who is called the Shehenshah of Indian cinema, always thinks big in accepting projects. Especially, he wants his films to get Pan-India appeal. On the other hand, Chiranjeevi, who is termed as an emperor of Telugu cinema and one of the biggest superstars of India, has been in a great form scoring an industry hit with Khaidi Number 150 with Rs.105+ crores share collections. Moreover, Chiranjeevi ensured Sye Raa to be the multi-lingual film and Amitabh was offered very powerful role. Obviously, Big B opted for Sye Raa.
