NPT and JG Not Helped Jai Lava Kusa?

Going by the latest reports from US trade, it has been understood that the way the director's factor showing dominance in pre release business of Telugu films in the territory. 

Young Tiger NTR's Naannaku Prematho collected $2M in the US while his Janatha Garage minted close to $2M. Banking on the previous successes of NTR in the US, the makers of Jai Lava Kusa quoted huge prices recently. 

With their dismay, no buyer has come forward as they felt prices quoted were not affordable for them. Since director Bobby has no better track record than Sukumar and Koratala Siva, US distributors haven't gone that crazy with the NTR-Bobby's combo flick. 

According to latest reports, US rights of JLK were sold out to Rs.8.10 crores which is quite comfortable price for the US distributors. In contrast, this is quite a low price than the expected. On a positive note, the movie has high chances to reach break even without much hiccups in the territory. 

JLK has Rashi Khanna and Nivetha Thomas in lady lead roles. The film will hit screens on 21st of September.
