As Usually TDP Suppressed Kapu Padayatra

As predicted by everyone, the TDP government suppressed yet another agitation launched by Kapu leader Mudragada Padmanabham. Earlier, a 26-day padayatra was planned by Mudragada which is set to get kicked off today.

However, the TDP government deployed around 7000 police personnel in East Godavari district to foil the padayatra. Especially, Kirlampudi and surrounding areas were completely went under police control. No outsiders were allowed to enter the village unless he possesses an identity card.

Meanwhile, latest reports are it that Mudragada was made 24 hours house arrest by the police this morning which lead the padayatra was called off temporarily. 

As we know, the TDP government broke its election promise to Kapus to make them inducted in BC category list. A special commission formed for Kapu reservations called Manjunadha Commission made an abnormal delay in submitting its report to the government as per the latter's directions. 

The AP CM is learnt to have been abided by breaking election promise to Kapus.
