GST Effect: Heroes Remuneration Reduces Drastically?

The Union Government's new tax system comes as a huge blow for South film industry. With the high tax rate of Rs.28% being levied for tickets priced more than Rs.100 theaters occupancy rate will be slashed drastically for few days until people get accustomed to new prices. 

At this juncture, most of the heroes are contemplating to cut down their pay cheques by half. It is heard that Stylish Star Allu Arjun has decided to take only half of the remuneration to Naa Peru Surya than what he had got with his DJ. 

Evidently, Mega Brother Nagababu happens to be one of the producers of Naa Peru Surya. Since the Mega Brother has been facing financial woes for quite some time, Stylish Star might have charged less, say a few other reports. On the other hand other top stars like Pawan Kalyan, Mahesh Babu and NTR are also on the verge of slashing their remunerations by half for their next ventures to escape cost failures.

Even though Gst is giving jitters to filmmakers, heroes decision might offer a little consolation for them.
